Ingredients for Chocolate Crackle Cookies:
– Butter 30g
– Dark Chocolate 30g
– Egg 1
– White Sugar 40g
– Salt 1g
– Cake Flour 65g
– Cocoa Powder 15g
– Baking Powder 2g
– Icing Sugar (for coating) as needed
Method for Making Chocolate Crackle Cookies:
Step 1: Melt 30g butter and 30g dark chocolate over boiling water and mix well.
Step 2: Add 1 egg, 40g sugar, and 1g salt, then mix well.
Step 3: Sift in 65g cake flour, 15g cocoa powder, and 2g baking powder, and mix until no dry flour remains. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
Step 4: Take out 16g portions and form into 14 small balls.
Step 5: Roll the small dough balls in icing sugar to coat them generously.
Step 6: Arrange on a baking tray and bake in the oven at 180°C for 15 minutes, with the top and bottom heat on the middle rack.
